Our story

"I wanted the tea I grew up with to feel like home again - so I built the practice I'd been missing."

Enning Z

Founder & Tea Artist

My name is Enning, founder of TEACIA. I have practiced Chinese tea art for more than ten years, and have lived in North America for over a decade.

As a Chinese immigrant, TEACIA began as a way for me to stay connected to my roots - and to share Chinese tea in a softer, more modern way. TEACIA's Chinese name is 茶之间, cha zhi jian: the space in between.

Practicing gongfu tea has taught me to slow down and return to the present. In Chinese culture, tea is more than a drink. It is a way to gather, to welcome, to show respect, and to share time with care.

Gather around the table.
